Unlike most pickups that sit „nose down” when unladen, the standard Navara remains level. However, due to its relatively soft suspension, carrying a significant load can cause a „tail down” stance, affecting both aesthetics and vehicle balance.
To address this, Pedders has developed a range of load-carrying kits tailored for various needs—from occasional to permanently heavy loads. • 803255: Heavy Duty Load Carrying & Towing Kit – Features an uprated rear spring, progressively wound to maintain ride comfort, raising the vehicle by approximately 30-35mm. Best for vehicles used both unladen and moderately loaded, without a canopy and tow bar. Maintains good ride comfort when unladen.
• 803278: Extra Heavy Duty Load Carrying & Towing Kit – Similar to the above but with a slightly stronger rear spring. Ideal for vehicles with both moderate loads and additional weight from a canopy and tow bar. Maintains ride comfort when unladen.
• 803284: Super Heavy Duty Load Carrying & Towing Kit – Specifically designed for permanently laden vehicles. Requires a minimum of 300KG at all times for optimal operation. Using this kit unladen may result in a firmer ride.
• 803258: Heavy Duty Variable Load Suspension Kit – Uses an airbag kit and shocks, retaining the standard rear springs. Ensures ride comfort and maintains vehicle height when unladen. When loaded, the airbags can be inflated using a standard airline (same as tire inflation). Ideal for users who carry significant weight occasionally but typically drive unladen.
• 803259: Extra Heavy Duty Variable Load Suspension Kit – Incorporates an airbag kit, uprated rear springs, and shocks. Provides a 30-35mm lift while maintaining good ride comfort. The airbag system allows for inflation when carrying heavy loads, making it suitable for vehicles that alternate between being completely unladen and heavily loaded.
