Pedders AHC Suspension Conversion Kit

Heavy Duty Load Carrying and Towing
Toyota LandCruiser Amazon / 100 Series, 4.5 Petrol & 4.2 Diesel

This kit replaces the original AHC (Automatic Height Control) suspension system installed by Toyota.

The Toyota LandCruiser 100 Series uses the AHC system, which relies on hydraulic fluid and pressure spheres to manage ride height and comfort. While sophisticated, it becomes prone to faults with age—and repairs can be costly.

Pedders offers a cost-effective, reliable solution. This conversion kit eliminates the hydraulic AHC setup and replaces it with a traditional coil and torsion bar suspension system. It is designed specifically for the FZJ and UZJ100 IFS platforms.

The kit includes:

• Front torsion bars
• Reinforced torsion bar mounting plates
• Rear coil springs
• Front and rear shock absorbers
• Instructions to disable the AHC system (prevents warning lights)

We offer several variants to suit different load and usage requirements. Due to the complexity of the AHC system and the potential for multiple faults, current ride height and comfort may differ significantly from the original factory condition.

Kit 803202 – Standard Conversion Kit

Recommended for vehicles used lightly laden or towing moderate loads. This kit may increase ride height by up to 1 inch, depending on your existing AHC condition. Ride may feel slightly firmer than the AHC „comfort” setting, but usually improves compared to worn factory systems.

Kit 803203 – Conversion & Lift Kit

Includes all components from Kit 803202, but with raised rear springs for approximately 2 inches of lift.

Kit 803072 – Heavy Duty Conversion Kit

Designed for frequent heavy load carrying or towing. Equipped with heavy-duty rear shocks to better manage additional forces. Expect a firmer ride when unladen.

Kit 803093 – Heavy Duty Lift Kit

Same as Kit 803072, but with raised rear springs for approximately 2 inches of added lift.

Note: Vehicle height measurements are based on 16-inch wheels. The kit is compatible with all wheel sizes.
