Pedders AHC Suspension Conversion & Lift Kit
Toyota LandCruiser Amazon / 100 Series, 4.7 V8
This kit is designed to replace the original AHC (Automatic Height Control) suspension system installed by Toyota in the 100 Series LandCruiser.
The AHC system uses hydraulic fluid and pressurized spheres to manage vehicle height and comfort. While advanced, it tends to become unreliable and expensive to repair as the vehicle ages.
Pedders offers a cost-effective, long-term solution by converting the hydraulic AHC system to a conventional suspension setup using coil springs and torsion bars.
This kit includes:
– Front torsion bars
– Reinforcement plates for torsion bar mounts
– Rear coil springs
– Shock absorbers (front and rear)
– Instructions for disabling the AHC system (to avoid warning lights)
We offer several kit variants to suit different load conditions and driving needs. Please note: due to the complexity and varied conditions of the original AHC systems, ride height and comfort after conversion may differ from factory-new performance.
Available Kits:
Kit 803200 – Standard Conversion Kit:
Suitable for vehicles that are unladen or lightly loaded, or for moderate towing. Typically raises vehicle height by up to 1 inch. Ride may be slightly firmer depending on the condition of the original AHC system.
Kit 803201 – Standard Conversion & Lift Kit:
Same as Kit 803200, but with raised rear springs, providing approximately 2 inches of lift.
Kit 803066 – Heavy Duty Conversion Kit:
Ideal for frequent towing or carrying heavy loads. Features heavy-duty rear shocks for better load control. Ride may feel firm when unladen.
Kit 803071 – Heavy Duty Conversion & Lift Kit:
Same as Kit 803066, but includes raised rear springs, offering approximately 2 inches of additional lift.

Fitment Note: Vehicle height measurements are based on 16-inch wheels. However, this kit is fully compatible with all wheel sizes.
