Pedders AHC Suspension Conversion Kit
Toyota LandCruiser Amazon / 100 Series, 4.5 Petrol & 4.2 Diesel
This kit is designed to fully replace the original AHC (Automatic Height Control) suspension system originally fitted by Toyota.
The AHC system in the LandCruiser 100 Series uses hydraulic fluid and pressurized spheres to manage vehicle height and ride comfort. While the system is technically advanced, it becomes prone to costly issues as the vehicle ages.
Pedders offers a cost-effective and reliable solution by converting your vehicle from hydraulic to conventional coil spring and torsion bar suspension. This system is designed for FZJ & UZJ100 IFS models.
The kit includes:
– Front torsion bars
– Reinforcement plates for torsion bar mounts
– Rear coil springs
– Front and rear shock absorbers
– Instructions on disabling the AHC system to prevent dash warning lights
Several kit variants are available, tailored to different vehicle uses. Please note that ride height and comfort after installation may vary depending on the current condition of your AHC system.
Available Kits:
Kit 803202 – Standard Conversion Kit:
Suitable for unladen or lightly loaded vehicles, or those towing moderate loads. Typically raises the vehicle by up to 1 inch. Ride comfort may be slightly firmer than the AHC comfort setting, but in most cases, performance improves due to wear in the original system.
Kit 803203 – Conversion & Lift Kit:
Same as Kit 803202, but includes raised rear springs, providing an average of approximately 2 inches of lift.
Kit 803072 – Heavy Duty Conversion Kit:
Designed for vehicles that frequently carry heavy loads or tow trailers. Features heavy-duty rear shocks for enhanced load control. Ride may feel firm when unladen.
Kit 803093 – Heavy Duty Conversion & Lift Kit:
Same as Kit 803072, but with raised rear springs for approx. 2 inches of lift, ideal for load clearance and off-road use.
