Pedders AHC Suspension Conversion & Lift Kit
Toyota LandCruiser Amazon / 100 Series, 4.5 Petrol & 4.2 Diesel
This kit is designed to fully replace the original AHC (Automatic Height Control) suspension system installed by Toyota.
The LandCruiser 100 Series is equipped with Toyota’s AHC system, which uses hydraulic fluid in pressurized spheres to control ride height and comfort. While advanced, this system becomes increasingly prone to expensive failures as it ages.
Pedders provides a cost-effective and reliable solution. This conversion kit replaces the AHC system with conventional coil spring and torsion bar suspension. It is designed for LandCruiser HD FZJ & UZJ100 IFS variants.
The kit includes:
– Front torsion bars
– Torsion bar reinforcing plates
– Rear coil springs
– Front and rear shock absorbers
– Instructions for safely disabling the AHC system to avoid dashboard warning lights
Multiple kit variants are available to suit different vehicle use cases. Due to the complexity of the AHC system and the range of possible faults, post-conversion ride height and comfort may differ from the original factory condition.
Available Variants:
Kit 803202 – Standard Conversion Kit:
For vehicles that are typically unladen or lightly loaded, and for moderate towing. May increase ride height by up to 1 inch, depending on the AHC system’s current condition. Ride comfort may be slightly firmer than the original AHC comfort mode.
Kit 803203 – Standard Conversion & Lift Kit:
Same as Kit 803202 but fitted with raised rear springs for approximately 2 inches of lift.
Kit 803072 – Heavy Duty Load Carrying & Towing Kit:
Designed for vehicles frequently used to tow or carry heavy loads. Includes heavy-duty rear shocks to handle increased weight. Ride comfort may be firm when unladen.
Kit 803093 – Heavy Duty Conversion & Lift Kit:
Same as Kit 803072, but with raised rear springs, offering approximately 2 inches of additional lift.
