Pedders Heavy Duty Load Carrying and Towing Suspension Kit – Mercedes X-Class

Do you use your X-Class for load carrying and/or towing and find it not up to the task as you hoped? Then Pedders Suspension has the solution for you.

The standard X-Class sits level when unladen, unlike most pick-ups that sit “nose down.” With relatively soft suspension, carrying a meaningful load results in a “tail down” stance, which not only appears overloaded but also affects the vehicle’s balance.

Pedders recognizes this and offers a range of load-carrying kits to suit all uses, from occasional load carrying to permanently heavily laden vehicles. Available Kits

• 803262 – Pedders Heavy Duty Load Carrying & Towing Kit: Uses an uprated rear spring, progressively wound for ride comfort, approx. 30-35mm higher than standard. Ideal for vehicles operated both unladen and moderately laden, without a canopy and tow bar.
• 803277 – Pedders Extra Heavy Duty Load Carrying & Towing Kit: Similar to the above kit but with a slightly stronger rear spring, suited for vehicles operated both unladen and moderately laden WITH a canopy and tow bar.
• 803283 – Pedders Super Heavy Duty Load Carrying & Towing Kit: Designed for permanently laden vehicles. A minimum of 300KG load is recommended at all times. Operation in an unladen condition will result in a firmer ride.
• 803263 – Pedders Heavy Duty Variable Load Suspension Kit: Uses an airbag kit and shocks, retaining standard rear springs. Ideal for those who occasionally carry significant loads but mostly run unladen.
• 803265 – Pedders Extra Heavy Duty Variable Load Suspension Kit: Combines an airbag kit, uprated rear springs, and shocks. Suitable for vehicles that operate at extreme weight differences—either completely unladen or heavily loaded.
